Mobile App Privacy Policy

Bluelab privacy policy

We take the privacy of your data seriously. We store your device data and deliver you useful information to help you grow better - that's our aim and intent. We store your device data so you can review how it changes over time. We don't track your location.

We also collect some information about how you use the app so we can improve our products and services - we're focussed on delivering a great experience.

All the data transmitted from your Bluelab Connect devices is captured by the Bluelab Connect Stick in your local computer. This data is then transferred to the Bluelab Cloud over the internet for storage. The Bluelab mobile app then accesses the cloud for viewing connected device data anywhere you have a mobile data connection.

Identity & access

When you start using the Bluelab app we ask for your email address and a password to create a Bluelab account. Your account details connects your app to your desktop software and devices.

We'll track how you use the app for statistical purposes and to test new features.

We will also send useful information to your email address about Bluelab, our products and services including upcoming changes or improvements.

We store any information you volunteer, like surveys and app reviews, for as long as it makes sense.

Law enforcement

Bluelab won’t hand your data over to law enforcement unless we are legally required to do so.

All data is encrypted via SSL/TLS when transmitted from your desktop software to our servers and back to your smart phone. This is the same encryption used by the banks. We store all the data on Amazon Web Services (AWS) which is built to meet the requirements of the most security-sensitive organizations. You can read more about AWS Security here.

Changes & questions

Bluelab may update this policy as we introduce new features or functionality. This will always be to improve your experience - we’ll notify you about significant changes by email or a notification in the app or software. You can change your personal information at any time by contacting our customer service team.
